The goggles are built for pool training. Some swimmers still use the goggles in endless pools by setting their pool length as "unknown." This lets you track your time while you swim, and if you have the Polar OH1/OH1 + sensor, you can monitor your heart rate in real time. You would also be able to review your time, stroke rate/count, and calories when you rest.
