The first band lasted 1.5 year. The spare lasted just 3 months. Both broke in the same spot where the metal lock is. Is it design/material issue?Back to product

My best answer is not to bend the band upward when you undo it. Gently pull the band back away from the buckle until the buckle stem is out of the belt hole. After getting a knack for this, you won't be bending the band up on its self. That's what breaks the band! It will last longer doing this.
